2. Information we collect
We only collect information necessary for the purposes described below. Two sources of collection:
Information you provide directly, through the contact form or by email: first name, last name, email address, phone number, dealership or group name, mandate objective, and any information you choose to add in your message.
Information related to newsletter subscription, if you subscribe to our editorial newsletter: email address (required), first name (optional), site display language at the time of subscription (fr-CA or en-CA, used to segment our mailings), date and time of subscription, IP address at the time of registration (retained as proof of consent required by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation).
Information collected automatically during your visit, through Google Analytics 4, if you have accepted its use via the consent banner: pages visited, visit duration, device type, browser, language, referrer, and a random session identifier. No nominally identifying information is shared with Google Analytics in our configuration (anonymized IP, advertising signals disabled by default).
3. What this information is used for
The information collected is used exclusively for the following purposes:
, To respond to your contact request and prepare an initial conversation.
, To establish and carry out, where applicable, the mandate you entrust to us.
, To send you our monthly editorial newsletter, if you are subscribed, in the language chosen at sign-up.
, To understand how our site is consulted, in order to improve its content and navigation (aggregated audience measurement).
, To comply with our legal and accounting obligations, including retaining proof of newsletter consent as required by CASL.
We do not use your information for targeted advertising or automated profiling. We never sell it.
4. Consent
You give us your consent in two distinct ways:
, By filling out the contact form, you consent to our use of the information provided to respond to your request. This consent is express and limited to that purpose.
, By clicking "Accept all" in the consent banner upon arrival on the site, you authorize the placement of cookies related to audience measurement. You may withdraw this consent at any time via the cookie icon in the bottom right corner of each page.
Refusing consent for audience measurement does not affect your browsing experience or our services in any way.
5. Third parties and transfers outside Quebec
Some information may be processed by service providers acting on our behalf. As of this policy's update, the following third parties may receive information concerning you:
Google LLC, provider of Google Analytics 4 and Google Workspace (our email service). Data may be processed and hosted in the United States and other countries where Google operates. Google commits to protection standards governed by its own contractual undertakings and recognized transfer frameworks (notably standard contractual clauses).
Netlify, Inc., host of the website and initial recipient of newsletter sign-up form submissions (Netlify Forms). Technical connection data (IP address, timestamp) is processed briefly for the purpose of delivering pages. Primary hosting in the United States.
Newsletter sending provider, at the time of the first newsletter mailing, we will transfer the subscriptions to a specialized service (for example Beehiiv, Mailerlite or Brevo). The chosen provider will be named here and subscribers will be notified of the transfer by email. Until the first mailing takes place, subscriptions remain solely in Netlify.
Before any transfer of personal information outside Quebec, we ensure that this information benefits from protection equivalent to that provided by Law 25, in accordance with section 17 of that law.
6. Retention period
We retain your information for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
, Contact requests without follow-up: 24 months after the last exchange, then destruction.
, Client mandates: duration of the mandate plus the retention period required by law (generally 7 years for tax and accounting obligations).
, Newsletter subscribers: until you unsubscribe. Proof of your consent (date, time, IP address, version of the policy accepted) is retained for three years after unsubscription, in accordance with the record-keeping obligation required by CASL.
, Audience measurement data (Google Analytics): maximum 14 months, in accordance with our GA4 configuration.
, Consent cookies: 13 months, after which your choice is requested again.
